Cron (CronAI, Inc.; the “Company”) values the personal information of everyone who uses the CronKey (formerly Social Keyboard) app and keyboard (the “Service”) and complies with Korea's Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws. This policy explains what information the Service processes, why, and how long it is kept.

The Company processes personal information only for the following purposes and will ask for your consent in advance if a purpose changes.

This content is used only to create and return the result (suggested sentences, translation, transcription, chat reply, emoticon image) and is not kept on the server after processing. Server operation logs keep only processing information such as the member ID, time of use, and character count or file size — never the content of the text, voice or photos.
Spell check is processed as in B above only when you are signed in and have confirmed the “Gemini usage notice”; otherwise it uses the spell checker built into your device and your text is not sent to the Company. 🎤 Voice input in 💬 Chat uses your phone's speech recognition to create text and does not send your voice to the Company.
To handle your inquiry, we receive the inquiry type and content you send from More › Customer Center in the app, an optional email address for our reply, the app version, device type and app language, and your member ID (if signed in). This is forwarded to the Company's support email (support@croninc.com) and kept for 180 days.
When you tap ⋮ › Report on the 💬 chat screen, the reason you chose, what you wrote, your member ID and the recent conversation text (up to 10 messages, excluding photos) are kept on the Company's server so that we can review the report and take action.

If another user searches for your friend ID, or a user who has your phone number saved in their contacts uses “Find by contacts,” your nickname and friend ID may appear in that user's friends list.

Posts in the Market can be seen by every user, so please don't include personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or photos in which other people's faces are clearly visible. When you post, the title, description and images (the first frame for videos) are checked automatically (by Google LLC; see Section 7), and inappropriate posts are not published. Posts that receive many reports or that the Company confirms to be inappropriate may be hidden or deleted.

When a friend enters your invite code, you receive a notification containing that friend's nickname, and when your Market post sells, you receive a notification containing the post title. Credits cannot be bought with money or exchanged for money.

In the Top 20 ranking, your nickname, score and accuracy, and the keyboard you used (key layout and design) are shown to other users who played in the same language, and other users can apply that keyboard as their own.
All of the permissions below are optional. If you don't allow one, you can still use the rest of the Service apart from that feature. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings.

However, where applicable laws require information to be retained, it is kept separately for the required period.
The Company does not sell or provide your personal information to other companies or organizations. However, it may be provided if you have agreed in advance, if specifically required by law, or if an investigative agency requests it through procedures prescribed by law.
To provide the Service, the Company entrusts the processing of personal information as shown below and makes sure it is not used beyond the entrusted tasks.

When you use AI features, the content is sent to the servers of Google LLC (in the United States and other countries where Google operates).
For app usage measurement (Section 11), the following information is sent to servers of Meta Platforms, Inc. (in the United States and elsewhere).
Personal information whose retention period has ended or whose purpose has been fulfilled is destroyed without delay. Electronic files are deleted in a way that cannot be recovered, and we do not process paper documents. However, anti-abuse information (number hash) is kept separately for 1 year after account deletion and then destroyed automatically.
From October 22, 2026, the CronKey app uses Meta (Facebook) app events (the Meta SDK) to measure ad performance.
Apart from this, the Service does not use cookies or other third-party analytics or advertising tools.
The Service is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
For inquiries, complaints or remedies regarding the processing of personal information, please contact us below. We will respond and act without delay.
If this policy changes, we will notify you on this page and in the app starting 7 days before the change takes effect. Changes that significantly affect your rights will be announced 30 days in advance.
Addendum: This policy takes effect on October 15, 2026.
